Care Bears Teaching Moments
How can you make the most of the Care Bears TV shows your kids are watching?
Introducing AGKidZone's Teaching Moments--tools to help you discuss with your children the E/I (educational and informational) messages found in each Care Bears TV episode. With themes such as caring, sharing, expressing your feelings, and other important life lessons, each Teaching Moment provides parents and caregivers with the following:
- A brief understanding of the emotional or social concept addressed in each episode.
- A link to the episode clip or the entire episode.
- A fun activity or craft to do with your child that reinforces the message of the episode.
- Talking points that can be used during the activity or throughout the day.
Flower Power
Share Bear has a beautiful Laughing Lilly plant in her garden with great big flowers. This episode teaches children the importance of acceptance of personal feelingsand empathy toward others.
Battle of the Band
Twinkers and the Rock Stars are putting on a concert in Care-a-lot, but rumors are sidetracking the show. This episode teaches children the importance of communication to help solve problems.
Share and Share Alike
Share Bear has a party to share her “rootbear” floats with her friends, but there’s not enough left for her! This episode encourages your child to speak up when there is a problem and shows the importance of sharing.
Gobblebugs
Cheer Bear's rainbow jump is almost finished, but she ignores something very important to take care of it. This episode will help your child learn about consequences of their behavior.
Oopsy The Hero
Oopsy Bear sees all the other Care Bears in Care-a-lot using their belly badges. As you watch, help your child to understand how feelings contribute to behavior.
Belly Ball
Share wants all of the adoration that comes from being a winner at Belly Ball. This episode teaches children to appreciate others for their inner qualities rather than their outward achievements.
Twinklet
The Care Bears are enjoying an evening show of baby stars, or "twinklets," as they streak through the sky. As you watch with your child, help them to recognize and name feelings.
Care-ful Bear
Funshine Bear changes his name to Care-ful Bear with a new mission to ensure the Care Bears don't get hurt. In this episode children learn about the consequences of behavior.

Grizzle is up to no good again! Help your child to
understand the power of apologies, caring, and how to resolve conflicts.
Heatwave
While decorating a colorful whale from this episode, help your child understand fear and how to overcome it.
King Grumpy
Get the crayons out! Color with Grumpy and Wingnut and teach your child the concepts of empathy, feelings, and responsbility for their actions.
Tell-Tale Tummy
Share Bear uses Grumpy Bear's new invention, The Cloud Express delivery machine, without permission to deliver flowers. While trying to use the Cloud Express, Share accidentally breaks it.
